Wedding photographer Belgium: German Wedding Landgoed Altembrouck in Voeren in the Voerstreek

This wedding dates back to 2017. It was a two-day celebration, with the first day consisting of a civil ceremony in Belgium (as is customary in Belgium).

I waited a long time to write this blog because the couple preferred not to be visible on my website. Yesterday, as I suddenly drove past Schloss Altembrouck, I decided that this wedding was still worth a blog, even if it includes some photos of details such as rings, hands, and decorations, as well as overview shots of the beautiful surroundings, the wedding venue, and the food and service.

Schloss Altembrouck is my favorite wedding venue in the region. It is beautifully tucked away in the greenery, between the forest and meadows. From the castle, you have a view of fields with grazing horses. Yet, it is just across the border with the Netherlands, not far from Epen and Vaals.

Equally impressive is the beautiful driveway with large old trees on both sides, but my absolute favorite spot is the part of the building with the staircase and wooden covering. Here, you can sit and chat, and walk directly into the greenery. During this wedding, this area hosted the wedding dinner, and as the conclusion of the first day, the evening celebration took place. There was plenty of dancing and fun. Something I didn't expect, as the guests seemed reserved during the day, and at many weddings, after the first dance, people often just talk and drink. However, that wasn't the case here. Everyone was on the dance floor, and, as they say in German, it was a "Bombenstimmung" (fantastic atmosphere).
