Wedding Photos at De Twee Gezusters Heerlen and Auberge de Rousch
Last Friday, I had a small wedding for 3 hours, which was booked quite last minute but nonetheless delightful. Friday was the day I would celebrate the anniversary of my business in the evening, so I thought it would be nice to work a bit during the day, but not for too long. This worked out perfectly.
Just before 2 PM, I parked my car in the parking lot of De Twee Gezusters in Heerlen, where this couple would get married in the chapel at 2 PM. This ceremony skipped the exchange of wedding rings but included a kiss and a heartfelt "yes," of course. After the ceremony, documents were signed, and a special marriage certificate was signed by their son.
Following the ceremony, there was an honor guard outside, and congratulations were warmly exchanged. From the ceremony, we drove to Auberge de Rousch, where the wedding cake was cut, and a small reception followed, leading into the wedding dinner. After cutting the cake, we had a brief wedding photoshoot by the pond, followed by group photos. My role as a wedding photographer for the day concluded at 5 PM. By now, I have already edited and sent this wedding, which took less time than the larger weddings I typically handle, to the clients. The concept for the wedding album is also ready.
Because I am a bit behind in writing blogs, I decided to feature this lovely spontaneous couple online immediately.
