Wedding Photographer Kerkrade: Winter Wedding on Valentine's Day in Unicorn Style at Castle Erenstein in Kerkrade
This couple booked me a year ago for the photography of their wedding. On Valentine's Day, I was the first to witness the bride's makeup, hairstyling, and dressing up at the Fletcher Hotel in Kerkrade. When I arrived, the bride's best friend was getting her makeup done by the makeup artist. I began the wedding reportage by capturing shots of the wedding dress, bridal shoes, and other details. In between, I went to the groom's hotel room to photograph him putting on his suit, along with his sister.
Everything was very relaxed. After the bride was done with her makeup, hair, and had her wedding dress on, the first person she saw was her father. I had already driven to Castle Erenstein and hurried to the room where the ceremony was taking place. The hall was filled with guests, and the groom was standing at the front, waiting for his bride.
During a beautiful ceremony with vows and live music, I completed the wedding reportage with photos of the rings, the kiss, and other significant moments. After the ceremony, there was the cutting of the wedding cake, which was, of course, in a unicorn theme. There was also time for gift-giving. Following this, we took group photos, and I accompanied the couple to the English garden for a photoshoot. They had brought colored smoke, which added a lot of fun to the session. The bride's best friend wrapped them entirely in a roll of tulle, and to conclude, we took some photos on the bridge, surrounded by colorful ribbons.
Time flew by, and soon everyone sat down for the wedding dinner. There was a speech by the groom's father, and then the couple opened the buffet, signaling it was time for me to wrap up.
