Wedding photography in Echt and Thorn: A registered partnership at the town hall of Echt with a photoshoot in Thorn
Actually, this is not a wedding reportage, but a registered partnership, but no less fun to photograph.
On Friday afternoon, September 30, all this took place at the town hall of Echt, surrounded by family and friends, with a brother leading the ceremony. The "bride" symbolically received the wedding ring of her grandmother brought by her aunt. During the ceremony, there was much laughter and an entertaining recount of how this special friendship had evolved into a relationship.
After the official part, including a guard of honor with bubbles in front of the town hall, we took some group photos before heading to the white village of Thorn. Here, I first took some "wedding photos" near the Grote Hegge on a bridge over the water, and then I took some more photos in the center of Thorn itself. We walked together through the charming streets with cute white houses, occasionally stopping to take romantic photos of the couple. We even encountered another colleague wedding photographer who was also out with a bridal couple.
Afterwards, the couple had reserved a table with friends and family at the Pannenkoekenbakker. I concluded this "wedding reportage" (I don't know what else to call it) with some atmospheric shots of the guests at the table and the moments when the couple received lovely gifts from friends and family.
After bidding farewell, I found a table for myself and enjoyed a well-deserved pancake.
