Wedding photographer Limburg in Simpelveld and Vaals: A wedding at the town hall and at restaurant De Wilhelminatoren

This lovely wedding was booked earlier this year. Originally planned to take place at home, but due to the relaxation of measures, the wedding ceremony ultimately took place at the town hall of Simpelveld. It was a particularly fun and special ceremony, with live piano music by a friend and a dog bringing the wedding rings (with the help of 2 girls).

After the ceremony, there were traditional congratulations and then a guard of honor in front of the town hall, where everyone blew bubbles. At the end of the guard, the turquoise Chevrolet wedding car awaited the bride and groom. First, I took a photo of the newlyweds together with the dog on the back of the car. Then we drove through back roads to Vaals to take some wedding photos with the wedding car first, and then in a harvested cornfield. Luckily, it stayed dry, but it was very windy and there was a beautiful sky full of clouds. Fortunately, the bride didn't mind at all that the wind messed up her hair a bit.

Afterward, we drove to the tri-border area, to restaurant Wilhelminatoren, where a high tea took place, but also the cutting of the wedding cake, some speeches, and a surprise opening dance with a song sung by a friend. In the meantime, I took some group photos on the terrace of the restaurant. Around 7:00 p.m., when all the gifts were unwrapped, it was slowly time for the wedding dinner and to wrap up this wedding reportage.
