Wedding photography in Limburg: Wedding photography during the wedding fair "Trouwbeleving" at Kasteel Erenstein in Kerkrade
On Sunday, March 17th, I was present as a wedding photographer at the wedding fair "Trouwbeleving" at Kasteel Erenstein in Kerkrade. Together with several other exhibitors such as Suit Academy (a suit store from Maastricht), Sanne Kickken (a goldsmith), and Ingrid van de Homburg from "Samen-Trouwen" (wedding officiant), we manned the upper floor and the wedding hall of the castle.
The turnout was exceptionally high, between 11:00 and 16:00 we received over 100 couples, many of whom are getting married in 2020.
Trouwbeleving asked me to create an atmosphere of the wedding ceremony, which was led by Ingrid. There was also singing during the ceremony and of course, a fake bride and groom, fully dressed and styled for the wedding, in which they were symbolically united.
After the vows and the exchange of rings, it was time for the wedding cake, a delicious cake was cut and all guests received a piece. During the Trouwbeleving, there were two 20-minute wedding ceremonies.
After the wedding ceremony, I manned my table again and told many couples about my approach as a wedding photographer, allowing them to take a look at one of the many wedding albums I had brought along. I also had a giveaway prepared for everyone in the colors of my branding.
I look back on a successful fair and hope to receive some lovely bookings as a result.
