Wedding photographer Biesenhof Geleen, outdoor wedding with the dog and a hardstyle evening party with the bride and groom as DJs
This is the first wedding where I received assistance during the evening party from a good friend, whom I will be training as my second shooter for weddings. She is a philosopher and writer and has written the blog text for this fantastic wedding.
Close bonds, with the family you were born into and the other family – your friends, your tribe that you choose and come to love just as much. These bonds were palpable and visible for everyone today. In the kiss on the mouth, the playful poke in the side, or the two friends who gave away the bride without hesitation. Just before, they had practiced in the changing room, giggling about how the walk should be.
They did it with love, with a smile, and a tear, walking past the white balloon that had received a place of honor among the wedding guests. Because close bonds, like those between father and daughter, cannot be broken even by death. What could be more beautiful than a good friend leading the wedding ceremony, and you reciting your vows to each other. A new bond that was formed ten and a half years ago, has grown, and that you joyfully toasted to today with your vows.
"Meet the Sneakers": a bride and groom just as comfortable, cheerful, and cool as their classic Nike Air Max dance shoes. What an opening dance! No glass slippers for this modern fairy tale, but shoes to make a statement. The guests gladly joined in because so much energy and fun are contagious. With gleaming eyes, the bride and groom stood behind the turntable, and everyone continued to dance cheerfully to the beats of these newlyweds.
Meanwhile, at the back, it was a mixture of mysterious looks, rustling papers, and nervous movements. It all became clear when the groom's family came forward and sang to the bride in their own dialect, expressing that she was a part of their lives.
