Wedding photographer Biesenhof Geleen: outdoor wedding with your dog and a hardstyle party with the bride and groom as DJs
An unforgettable wedding at Biesenhof Geleen
This was the first wedding where I had the support of a good friend during the evening party, who I’m training to be my second shooter for weddings. She’s a philosopher and writer, and she’s written this blog post about this fantastic wedding.
Outdoor wedding in Limburg: with a friend as the officiant and your dog as the ring bearer
What makes a wedding truly special? It’s the close bonds – the family you were born into and the “other family” – your friends, your tribe that you choose and love just as much. These bonds were felt and visible at this wedding. The kiss on the lips, the playful poke in the side, or the two friends who gave the bride away without hesitation. Just moments before, they had been in the changing room, giggling about how the walk should be.
They did it with love, with a smile, and a tear, walking past the white balloon marking the place of honor among the guests. Because close bonds, like those between father and daughter, cannot be broken by death. What could be more beautiful than a close friend leading the wedding ceremony and the couple reciting their vows to one another? A new bond that was formed ten and a half years ago, grown through time, and joyfully celebrated with their vows today.
Opening dance in sneakers and the bride and groom as DJs at their wedding party
"Meet the Sneakers": This bride and groom were just as comfortable, cheerful, and cool as their classic Nike Air Max dance shoes. What an opening dance! No glass slippers for this modern fairy tale, but shoes that made a statement. The guests eagerly joined in because so much energy and fun are contagious. With gleaming eyes, the bride and groom stood behind the turntable and everyone continued dancing to the beats of these newlyweds.
A special moment for the groom
At the back of the room, there was a mix of mysterious looks, rustling papers, and nervous movements. Everything became clear when the groom’s family came forward and sang to the bride in their native dialect, welcoming her into their lives and expressing that she is now a part of their family. A heartfelt and special moment that made the day even more memorable.
