Wedding Photographer Venray: Wedding photos in the Odapark and at the Theehuisje
Two weeks ago, I had a lovely wedding on a Saturday. The couple booked me via a video call, and on the day itself, we met in person for the first time, and we hit it off right away.
It was a home wedding, in the garden of the groom's parents' house. I was supposed to be there around 12 o'clock to photograph "the first look". The bride was already dressed and ready, and the groom and the guests were in the garden. A first look is always a beautiful moment. Even if people have been together for a long time, they still enjoy seeing each other in wedding attire.
From home, we drove to the beautiful Odapark in Venray for the wedding photoshoot. Since this lovely couple met while playing frisbee, frisbee playing had to be included in the wedding reportage. The couple wanted some beautiful spontaneous photos in nature and some photos while playing frisbee. They also wanted some photos of the baby bump, as the bride was pregnant. During the reception in the tent in the garden, the gender of the baby was announced.
After the photoshoot, we headed to the Theehuisje, which is a very beautiful wedding venue, where the wedding ceremony took place. During the beautiful ceremony, "I do" was said, and wedding rings were exchanged, then everyone returned to the party tent in the garden to congratulate the newlyweds and give gifts. After taking the group photos and tossing the bouquet, it was time for a buffet in the garden and then for some cozy chatting and mingling, but also for speeches.
The evening came quickly, and it was time for the first dance. Then I said goodbye, and my job as a wedding photographer for that day was done. I have since edited all the photos and sent the album to the couple.
