Wedding Photography Maastricht: Small wedding at the Maastricht City Hall with a lunch at Ipanema and a photoshoot at Coffeelovers
Last Friday, I had the privilege of capturing a beautiful wedding ceremony at the Maastricht City Hall. The officiant for this occasion was Bruni Graus, and it was a lovely, extended ceremony with two speeches and a couple exchanging heartfelt vows. Due to the significant number of guests, the ceremony took place in a large hall, ensuring everyone not residing under the same roof could maintain a 1.5-meter distance from one another.
Following the ceremony, I quickly returned to my car, parked at Plein 1992. We arranged to meet here for a small, romantic wedding photoshoot at Coffeelovers. The charming cappuccino cups served as a stylish backdrop for the ring photos, displaying two lovely hearts in the coffee.
From Coffeelovers, we strolled along the Maas for a spontaneous photoshoot, exploring areas near Café Zuijd and the tower by the Maas. We had allocated half an hour for this, and afterwards, the newlyweds headed to the wedding venue, Ipanema, for the bridal lunch and a toast. I captured some atmospheric shots of the appetizer and its presentation. Subsequently, I moved around, taking journalistic photographs as people engaged in lively conversations. The couple received gifts while making a brief visit to each table.
Upon arrival, we also quickly took a group photo outside with the entire wedding party, following the guidelines of the RIVM. Inside, everyone sat at the large round dinner tables, maintaining a proper distance from each other.
