Wedding photographer in Geleen: Wedding ceremony at the town hall and wedding reception at Jolies
What a lovely wedding I recently had the pleasure of photographing! It lasted only 4 hours, but it was no less enjoyable than the 12-hour weddings I sometimes capture. This delightful couple is full of spontaneity. They booked me for the emotions in my wedding photos and wanted a journalistic wedding reportage.
I began by capturing the bride getting ready at home. It was a bustling scene. Makeup was applied, hair was done, and the two dogs greeted me as I walked in. I just managed to lift my lens in time; otherwise, there would have been a big dog nose in the shot :-). This set the tone for a joyful wedding day.
After the first look and the bride's preparations, I went with the couple, their handsome son, and the two dogs to the city park in Geleen. We were fortunate with the weather, even though it was already November 10th, it was still super mild and sunny, allowing us to capture beautiful backlit photos in the park. The autumn leaves added a warm atmosphere to the pictures.
Following the wedding photoshoot, it was time for the wedding ceremony with vows exchanged in the beautiful ceremony room at Geleen's town hall. Afterwards, the entire party strolled across the market to Jolies, where the wedding dinner and reception took place. The venue was beautifully decorated with autumn decor, tea lights on the terrace, and lovely balloons in autumn hues. Everyone gathered, enjoyed drinks, and chatted, and the evening had begun.
