Wedding photographer Limburg: Candid wedding photos at the town hall of Kerkrade and on the Brunssummerheide
For a year, they had postponed their wedding day due to the Coronavirus crisis, but on this beautiful sunny Saturday, the day had finally arrived.
At 8 in the morning, I was at the groom's home to capture his preparations. From the residence, I rushed like a news reporter to Hotel van der Valk Heerlen for the bride's dressing, makeup, and hair styling. The bride had spent the night here with her friends. The atmosphere was fantastic. Three ladies were beautifully made up. Then, the gorgeous wedding dress was donned, and the groom arrived in a beautiful blue vintage car driven by a family member.
The bride descended the stairs in a traditional manner, and there were a few tears shed. It was time to head to Hotel Erenstein for the wedding photoshoot on the steps and in the English garden. From Erenstein, we drove to the town hall, where in the wedding ceremony hall, the vows were exchanged. As the splendid couple descended the town hall stairs, all family members and friends were outside releasing balloons. As a surprise, all the children from the bride's class had come, and the market square was filled with people bringing gifts or hoping to catch a glimpse of the newlyweds.
Following the wedding ceremony, there was a toast and a beautiful, delicious wedding cake in the backyard. After the cake, there was a pleasant gathering in the garden, and when the family bid farewell around six o'clock, we went with a group of friends to the sand dunes on the Brunssummerheide. Here, the Martini bottles were opened, and we took some fun group photos... there was even a sort of opening dance.
Around eight o'clock, as the sun slowly began to set, I captured the final romantic wedding photos in the evening glow. A splendid wedding day that lasted for 12 hours.
