Wedding Photographer Heerlen: Uniquely Intimate Wedding at De Twee Gezusters in Heerlen
Anyone thinking that I'm currently sitting idle is mistaken. Here and there, there are still people who choose to celebrate their wedding in a small circle with family and friends. Such is the case with this lovely couple from Heerlen.
On a rainy afternoon, I stood with the family, waiting for the bride. I had not met this sweet couple before; the bride's sister had booked me on Sunday for the wedding ceremony on Tuesday.
It was a special wedding because the bride herself was unwell, and her mother-in-law was brought to the wedding in the wish ambulance. Nevertheless, I saw these people enjoying the moment immensely. It was beautiful to hear how they had met. As neighbors who frequently visited each other, a romance had blossomed. They had and continue to have much support for each other.
We departed from their home to the chapel of the wedding venue De Twee Gezusters in Heerlen for the civil ceremony.
After saying their vows, they danced together, and then the wedding rings were placed on their fingers, followed by a kiss. When the groom's mother signed the marriage certificate (she was the witness), he couldn't hold back his tears. The other witness was the bride's best friend.
Then, the champagne was popped open, and congratulations ensued. We also took some time for group photos and a few shots of the newlywed couple together.
