English: Wedding Photographer Vaals: A romantic wedding reportage at Bloemendal Castle with a wedding photoshoot at Vaalsbroek Castle
It was around noon when I arrived at the elegant wedding venue, Bloemendal Castle in Vaals, to capture a wedding reportage. Here, the bride was getting ready in the beautiful bridal suite with a view of the garden, and her bridal hairstyle was being styled.
Getting ready of the bride with the help of her mother
In between, I briefly went to the groom's room, where he was getting dressed. Then quickly back to the bridal suite to capture an important moment: the bride getting dressed with the help of her mother.
A first look on the staircase of Bloemendal Castle
Once the bride and groom were dressed, it was time for the moment they would see each other for the first time in their wedding attire. This took place in the staircase of the hotel, where the bride traditionally descended the stairs in her wedding gown, and the groom waited at the bottom with the bridal bouquet in hand.
Beautiful outdoor wedidng near a fountain in the garden
Following this, there was a beautiful wedding ceremony in the garden next to the hotel's fountain, where I captured journalistic and spontaneous wedding photos. After the ceremony, there was a toast, and then the wedding cake was brought in, decorated with fireworks—a stunning cake made by the bride's mother.
Funny group pictures in the park of Bloemendal castle
After everyone enjoyed a piece of the wedding cake, we took some group photos in the garden with the bride and groom, family, and friends.
The romantic photoshoot was at Vaalsbroek Castle
Once this was completed, I accompanied the newlyweds to the gardens of Vaalsbroek Castle for a romantic wedding photoshoot.
Time for the wedding dinner in the basement of Bloemendal castle
Upon returning to Bloemendal Castle, everything was set up in the basement for the wedding dinner. During the dinner, I took a break and edited a selection of wedding photos, which were displayed on a screen during the evening.
A beautiful dessert buffet followed by the openingsdance
After the dinner, there was a delightful dessert buffet, and once it was cleared, more guests arrived. Slowly, it was time for the opening dance, a Rumba. Following the traditional bouquet toss by the bride and the groom's removal of the garter with his teeth, I bid farewell to this lovely couple.
