The Wedding Photographer in Vaals: Fairytale Wedding at Kasteel Bloemendal
The wedding photographer from Limburg: At Kasteel Bloemendal, I had the pleasure of photographing a very romantic intimate wedding.
Shanna and Danny had already spent the night in the tower room of this beautiful castle the night before their wedding. When I arrived, the makeup artist and hairstylist were already there. Shanna had planned everything well, so I had plenty of time to capture the beautiful accessories, the wedding dress, and all the other happenings.
After a while, her father and mother (with the wedding dress) and her sister joined in. The room was filled with cheerful vibes. Before Shanna put on her wedding dress with the help of her mother and sister, Danny was sent away.
Once everyone was ready, the bride and groom saw each other for the first time in their wedding attire at the foot of the stairs. Then, gradually, the guests started to arrive. Shanna wanted to get married outside, by the fountain, so her mother and sister went outside to decorate the chairs with balloons and chocolates. However, clouds started to gather in the sky. Fortunately, the hotel had umbrellas ready for all the guests. Just as the bride was about to be led to the groom by her father, the rain began. The guests decided to move inside, where the ceremony continued.
Inside the castle was just as beautiful. The officiant conducted a beautiful ceremony, and the speeches from Shanna's father and sister were very touching. The bride was still overwhelmed when signing the marriage certificate.
Afterwards, there was a toast to the newlyweds, and an impressive wedding cake and treats for all the guests. While everyone happily feasted at the table, the sun came out again. Until we stood in the garden to take group photos: Then came rain shower number 2. So, everyone back inside!
The photoshoot of the newlyweds, therefore, took place partially indoors. When the weather cleared up again, we captured some beautiful shots in the splendid garden.
I said goodbye around 5 pm, as the festive wedding dinner was starting at that time.
