Wedding Photos Winselerhof: As a wedding photographer in Limburg, I had the honor of photographing the fantastic wedding on Friday
It was a gloomy afternoon when I parked my car at the elegant wedding venue Winselerhof in Kerkrade, but that was soon forgotten. In my opinion, Winselerhof is one of the most beautiful wedding locations in the region.
How this wedding reportage began I started by photographing the dressing and makeup. The bride, Klaartje, was very relaxed and chatted with her friends in one of the hotel rooms at Winselerhof, while the makeup artist Marlou from Visagie Marlou beautifully styled her hair and adorned it with real flowers. The couple is from Limburg but currently lives together in the northern part of the country. They specially came back to South Limburg for their wedding day.
A beautiful wedding ceremony with a personal touch and individual decoration In the hotel room, the bride, along with her mother, a friend, and a niece, got dressed. Soon after, it was time for the beautiful wedding ceremony, which took place in the grand banquet hall of Winselerhof in Kerkrade. The ceremony hall was beautifully decorated with flowers. Another lovely detail was that the couple had their own wedding logo designed in the color purple, which was incorporated into the wedding decorations. Afterwards, the couple also chose this color for their wedding album, on which I had their wedding logo printed on the front.
Not a registrar but the father leading the wedding ceremony The wedding ceremony was partially led by a registrar and partially by the bride's father, who told a super nice story about their meeting and made the ceremony special, incorporating fairy tales from Grimm, accompanied by the violin playing of the bride's brother and his wife. There were laughs and tears during the wedding ceremony.
A special gift for the groom At the end of this beautiful ceremony, there was a reception in the conservatory of Winselerhof, accompanied by a Gipsy band. When the weather cleared up, we took a short wedding reportage with romantic wedding photos among the vineyards. During the reception, the groom received an electric guitar as a gift, on which he played during the evening.
A delicious Italian buffet as the wedding dinner Following that, it was time for a delicious, extensive Italian wedding buffet, followed by a super fun speech by the bride's brother, who even made a live connection with Dr. Phil :-).
An extraordinary evening with a live performance by the groom The wedding evening started with a performance by the groom's own band, playing their own repertoire. Kevin had specially rehearsed a song for Klaartje (A hundred miles). After the band's performance, the DJ took over, followed by a song made by all friends. While the party was in full swing, I bid farewell to this super nice couple.
