Wedding Photographer Rekem / Lanaken Belgium: Elegant Wedding at La Butte aux Bois Wedding Venue in Lanaken
It was lightly cloudy when I arrived at the wedding venue La Butte aux Bois in Lanaken, just across the Belgian border, to capture wedding photos. Today, I had the privilege of photographing the wedding of Katrien and Joris, a super nice and sweet couple with two daughters.
We started this wedding reportage with the wedding photoshoot, which we took in the romantic gardens of the wedding venue La Butte aux Bois in Lanaken. Subsequently, I naturally photographed the special wedding ceremony, which took place indoors and was musically accompanied by singing and harp.
After the wedding ceremony, the sun broke through, and the bride and groom toasted and enjoyed drinks in the garden along with the wedding guests, where a beautiful tent was set up. Here, I also took some group photos with the family of the bridal couple.
Due to the beautiful sunlight filtering through the trees, we then had a small photoshoot with the flower girls. Around six o'clock, everyone moved to the beautifully decorated wedding party hall, where the wedding dinner and the opening dance took place.
During the wedding dinner, I edited some wedding photos on my laptop to show on a projector during the evening party. Before the opening dance, the beautifully flower-adorned wedding cake was brought in, which the newlyweds cut.
After everyone had enjoyed a piece of the wedding cake and the dessert buffet, the band started with the traditional opening dance.
