Wedding Photographer Ardennes: Getting married at the estate "La Ferme de Pere Louis" in Waimes, in a beautiful wooden villa surrounded by greenery with a view over the enchanting forest
A wedding abroad has always been a dream of mine. A "Destination Wedding," specifically a wedding photoshoot abroad. Belgium is not far from me, but it was still special to capture an outdoor wedding in this beautiful villa in the Ardennes.

The groom surprised his bride with a completely organized wedding. It was a surprise wedding. The groom called me a few weeks ago, asking if I was available to be the photographer for his wedding. The plan was for the groom to propose to his future wife in the Ardennes on Friday and then get married on Saturday. I felt honored! I was immediately booked as the wedding photographer, without us ever meeting before.

This wedding in the Ardennes exceeded all my expectations! The wedding day exceeded all my expectations; everything was meticulously planned. When I arrived at the villa in Waimes, someone from the terrace called out if I'd like something to drink. That set the tone for the day. Everyone was busy, in shorts decorating the tables for the wedding dinner, the ceremony spot was romantically adorned for the outdoor wedding, and I met the groom, the bridal children, the parents, the bride, and the other wedding guests.

I started capturing journalistic wedding photos of the bride's preparations. While the bride was getting ready, the officiant interviewed her, and the speech for the wedding ceremony was quickly written.
After that, everything went according to schedule, albeit somewhat delayed. The groom dressed himself with his son, while the daughter put on her adorable dress and the mom stepped into her wedding gown.

Getting married outdoors in the Ardennes. At the outdoor ceremony spot, everyone was seated under the tree adorned with personal photos. The bride descended the balloon-decorated stairs and was given away to the groom by her father. The wedding ceremony was beautiful and personal. The son and daughter were involved in a fun way, allowed to hit a hammer after the vows and bring the wedding rings.

Romantic wedding photos around the villa. After the wedding ceremony, there was a champagne toast on the terrace of Villa La Ferme de Pere Louis, and the caterer prepared small bites. In the meantime, I took romantic wedding photos with the newlyweds, first with the kids, on a bench and on the trampoline, and then just the couple on a beautiful forest path overlooking the Ardennes.

And then it was already time for the wedding dinner on the villa terrace, with a beautiful view over the Ardennes. Returning to the villa, the table was set for the wedding dinner, with fires in the middle providing atmosphere and warmth. All wedding guests sat at the table. I took some spontaneous wedding photos during the dinner, and afterward, I also enjoyed a delicious meal.
Afterwards, I bid farewell and drove back home from the Ardennes.
