Wedding Photographer Limburg: Spontaneous Wedding Photography with a Journalistic Touch in Limburg
This lovely couple booked me well in advance for their wedding reportage. And today, it finally happened. On a beautiful sunny day, I drove to the bride's location to capture the dressing up and the groom's arrival.
They opted for a very traditional wedding ceremony from the bride's parental home. Everything was adorned with a carpet, flowers, and tulle with roses on the stairs
The bride's mother personally crafted a wedding dress for her daughter for this special day. The bride got dressed together with her mother.
It didn't take long for the groom to arrive in a funny classic Volkswagen bus, serving as the wedding car. The groom rang the doorbell and was warmly welcomed by his mother-in-law. He waited at the bottom of the stairs until his bride descended, accompanied by other guests who eagerly peeked through the kitchen door. This allowed me to capture everything beautifully in a journalistic style.
Firstly, we departed with the entire party and two Volkswagen buses to the registry office in Heerlen for the civil ceremony
After this ceremony, I took the couple for a brief stop at the Schelmenhofje to capture some romantic wedding photos. We then proceeded to the church in Heerlerheide for the religious blessing with live music, as a church always provides a beautiful backdrop for spontaneous wedding photos full of emotion.
After the church, we headed to Hoensbroek Castle. In the Tot Slot garden, the couple toasted and cut the wedding cake
Following that, we took some group photos, an essential part of the wedding reportage. While everyone enjoyed the aperitif, we took a bus to Weustenrade for the spontaneous wedding reportage, choosing a natural field setting.
At six o'clock, there was a wedding dinner buffet, and I went home briefly to freshen up, returning at half-past seven to the Hoensbroek Castle's banquet hall, where a fanfare played for the newlyweds.
Afterward, there was a reception for the evening guests, and finally, I captured the opening dance of this couple.
