Wedding Photographer Kerkrade: The final wedding reportage of this wedding season took place at a beautiful wedding in Kerkrade, spanning across Restaurant Giuseppe, the Abbey of Rolduc, and the town hall (South Limburg)

In a traditional yet delightful start, I began by capturing a segment of the makeup session, expertly handled by Myrthe. Following this, the bride's mother and mother-in-law assisted her in getting dressed.

Lieke donned a stunning classic lace wedding gown adorned with buttons at the back, providing a moment of slight stress for the mothers.

Once the bride was ready, it was time for Joris to make his grand entrance in his MG convertible wedding car. Upon ringing the doorbell, he was warmly greeted by the entire family, eagerly awaiting the first glimpse of the bride as she descended the grand staircase in the entrance hall.

In a timeless fashion, the bride gracefully descended the stairs, receiving the beautiful Italian-style bridal bouquet at the bottom. Then, the party proceeded to the town hall for the civil ceremony, which was officiated in a wonderfully entertaining manner by the mayor of Kerkrade. Live music, featuring songs in the Kerkrade dialect, added to the festive atmosphere.

Following the civil ceremony, guests retreated briefly to the bride and groom's residence, where a wedding lunch awaited them. Given the splendid weather, many guests also enjoyed the ambiance of the charming 1930s house's beautiful garden. The setting was tastefully adorned with personalized coasters featuring the couple's names and wedding date, as well as small wooden discs bearing the same details.

After the lunch, I headed to the Abbey of Rolduc for the church wedding. Accompanied by music from the Kerkrade town band, the wedding mass was enriched by the live singing performance of the groom's brother.

The church was adorned with exquisite floral arrangements, providing a picturesque backdrop for capturing timeless moments. Following the service, the newlyweds and I ventured into the vineyard-draped garden of Rolduc, capturing intimate moments amidst the scenic beauty. Additionally, we took some shots indoors, utilizing the majestic staircases and grand windows as captivating backdrops.

From Rolduc, we proceeded to Restaurant Giuseppe on the market square in Kerkrade. Outside, a splendid long table was set along the facade for an Italian-inspired wedding lunch. After the luncheon, the couple ceremoniously cut the wedding cake indoors. I then took a brief hiatus until the commencement of the evening festivities.

Upon returning to the restaurant, a lively atmosphere awaited. The wedding reception was in full swing, followed by a performance from the local carnival association in honor of the newlyweds. As the evening progressed, guests hit the dance floor, reveling in the celebratory mood. At half-past ten, I bid farewell to Lieke and Joris, concluding a wonderful day filled with joyous memories.
