Spontaneous wedding photography in Brabant: Garden wedding at an estate in Waalre with wedding photos from the dressing in Son en Breugel
It has been a long time since I first met this bride during a photoshoot at a perfumery. It's strange how things can unfold, that seven years later, I would be asked to be their wedding photographer.
I was thrilled with this fantastic assignment for capturing wedding moments in Son en Breugel and Waalre in Brabant. The wedding coverage began in the morning at the bride's parents' home, where the groom and the father and brother of the bride were getting ready. From there, I continued my wedding coverage to the bride's house, where a good friend was doing her makeup. During the makeup session, I went to the attic with the videographer to capture the beautiful, Cinderella-like wedding dress.
Soon it was time for dressing, where the bride was assisted by her mother and sister in putting on the wedding dress, donning the bridal shoes, and the bridal jewelry. The first meeting took place traditionally at the front door and was followed by a small brunch. In between rain showers, we set out with the newlyweds for a romantic wedding photoshoot in the natural surroundings of Son en Breugel.
After capturing everything on photo and video, we headed to the wedding venue on an estate in Waalre. A beautiful estate with, among other things, horse stables, grass, and many trees. Here, a party tent with catering was set up, and under an old oak tree, there was a covered arrangement for the outdoor ceremony. During a super fun wedding ceremony, we were all almost blown away, but I managed to capture beautiful wedding photos full of emotions. At one point, even the papers of the marriage officer were blown away.
The rest of the wedding day was filled with socializing and dining with friends and family, speeches by family and friends, cutting the wedding cake, a small photoshoot in the horse stable, and some romantic wedding photos at sunset. To conclude the day, there was the evening celebration with a fantastic DJ, saxophonist, and percussionist.
