Wedding photographer Limburg: Wedding photos at Castle Obbicht and wedding ceremony at Castle Elsloo with blessing of the wedding rings at the Mariakapel in Beek
I had the pleasure of photographing a very special, intimate second wedding last Wednesday. At quarter past twelve, I rang the doorbell as the wedding photographer at the bride and groom's in Limburg. We hadn't met before, only spoken on the phone, so that was quite special.
We headed to Castle Obbicht, a beautiful privately-owned castle, where we had arranged to take romantic wedding photos. Then we drove on to Castle Elsloo, where the bridal couple was welcomed by the guests, and the civil wedding ceremony took place in the Knight's Hall, accompanied by beautiful live singing.
After the ceremony, all the guests formed an honor guard outside, and the wedding cake was cut, followed by a toast by the groom's brother. Then, there was a cozy reception with family and friends. To wrap up, I took some group photos with the entire wedding party before we went to the Mariakapel in Beek for the blessing of the wedding rings.
At the end, the grandson was allowed to release the large white balloon at the chapel.
For me, it was then time to bid farewell to the newlyweds."
