Wedding Photographer South Holland: A beautiful wedding full of emotion on the island Tiengemeten at Herberg Tiengemeten
I got to know this lovely couple via Skype and phone calls. They booked me right away for their wedding reportage on the island Tiengemeten, and last Thursday, I drove to Zeeland in the evening, in pouring rain. I hoped so much for dry weather on Friday! I spent the night in a B&B, and in the morning, miraculously, the rain lessened, and as I drove towards the ferry to cross, it even became sunny.
Taking the ferry to the little land Tiengemeten for the wedding reportage
At the ferry, I met the couple for the first time, along with their children. Within 10 minutes, we arrived with the ferry on the island Tiengemeten, where we headed towards Herberg Tiengemeten.
The entire Herberg Tiengemeten was decorated for the wedding
Here, the soon-to-be bride met her children, who were busy with arranging wedding decorations. Large helium balloons were placed around the entire inn, each with paper mache hot air balloons attached. I would find out during the ceremony why this was. (The groom turned out to have proposed to his bride in a hot air balloon).

Subsequently, the bride and groom both changed into their wedding attire in the bridal suite of the inn. First, the groom with his son and daughter, and then the bride with the help of her daughters. Both looked absolutely stunning. As the bride is a skipper's daughter, and both love the water, we decided they should see each other for the first time on the dyke.
Photos of the first look and then the wedding reportage in the orchard of Herberg Tiengemeten
After a beautiful moment of seeing each other for the first time, we created a small wedding reportage together at a boat on the jetty and in the orchard of Herberg Tiengemeten.

Then it was slowly time for the wedding ceremony. When the bride entered with her two daughters, she was surprised in the middle aisle by her 93-year-old father, who had been brought to the inn as a surprise. He formally gave her away to her future husband.
A wedding ceremony full of speeches and tears of joy
During the wedding ceremony, there were many tears of joy, speeches from the children, and a good friend, in short, a special wedding ceremony that I had the privilege of photographing as a wedding photographer, full of journalistic wedding photos (moments).
Cutting the wedding cake and champagne in the sun
After the ceremony, champagne was enjoyed in the sun, the wedding cake was cut, and there was more celebrating. After taking some group photos, it was slowly time for the departure of the daytime guests, who were picked up by the salon boat.
