Wedding photographer in Heerlen and Schinveld: Wedding photos of an international wedding with the theme Alice in Wonderland, at the Schinvelderhoeve
The day started cloudy when I arrived at the bridal couple's home to begin my wedding coverage. I was to capture photos of the bride getting ready, the groom, and their two (flower) children.
I started by photographing the bridal makeup and the unique 1950s hairstyle of the bride. In between, I went to the living room, where the groom, their two sons, and himself were getting dressed.
Then back upstairs for putting on the beautiful lace wedding dress. Subsequently, the bride and groom separately went with their parents to the Schinvelderhoeve, where the wedding ceremony took place entirely in "Alice in Wonderland" style.
Even the wedding official had put a lot of effort into her attire, wearing a beautiful floral dress matching the colors of the decoration.
The wedding ceremony lasted an hour and was very personal. The official involved all guests in the speech and let everyone speak personally. The bride's brother was called upon during the vows, and the son helped by putting a wax seal in the marriage booklet and bringing the wedding rings.
Afterward, it was time for a high tea with various speeches, a champagne toast, and group photos.
To conclude, I went with the newlyweds to a field of sunflowers to capture some romantic wedding photos together.
The remaining wedding photos were taken under the gate of the Schinvelderhoeve to avoid the rain.
A super fun wedding day, full of spontaneous moments and beautiful details once again.
