Wedding photographer Limburg: Spontaneous and romantic wedding photos at Wijnandsrade Castle and the wedding venue de Biesenhof in Geleen
Last Saturday started beautifully sunny. With a bright blue sky and mist over the fields. Singing, I drove to Schimmert for one of my last wedding reports in South Limburg this year. Another exceptionally beautiful wedding, with many spontaneous journalistic moments.
The bride was made up at home in their beautiful old house, and then her mother helped her with dressing up. A particularly beautiful wedding dress, not floor-length this time. Very nice. Then the groom came to pick her up in their super cute classic red wedding car. This was beautifully decorated with flowers, just like their home and the church.
First, we all headed to Wijnandsrade Castle for the civil ceremony. In the beautiful historic castle, in a crowded room, with many small children, providing delightful photo opportunities.
After the ceremony, there was the delicious wedding cake and the toast, during which the groom sabered the champagne. Following that, I took some wedding photos of the newlyweds with their little daughter, and we strolled along the avenue with trees and sheep for some photos.
After the sandwich lunch and the wedding cake, it was time to head back to Schimmert, where the religious ceremony took place. With beautiful live music and again, many beautiful moments.
After the church, I went to de Biesenhof. There was a reception with some snacks for the family, and we took some more photos in the rapeseed field and family portraits. Then it was time for dinner. I said goodbye and returned later to capture the atmosphere of the evening party and the traditional opening dance.
