Wedding Photographer Venlo and Roermond: A Romantic and Elegant Wedding at Castle Hattem
This journalistic and spontaneous wedding reportage began at the groom's home in Venlo, where he dressed with the help of his father. The bride was beautified at a salon, where she had her hair and makeup taken care of. When I arrived, the final touches were being put on her bridal makeup. From Venlo, I continued capturing the wedding reportage at the groom's home, where he put on his wedding suit.
Subsequently, I headed to the couple's residence for the bride's preparation and the 'First Look' under a tree in their backyard. It was a super warm day, and the garden was very sunny and open, posing a challenge to find a good spot for the so-called 'First Look'—a unique and special moment during the wedding reportage when the bride and groom see each other for the first time in wedding attire.
In their vintage wedding car, with four bridesmaids in the backseat, they were bid farewell by all the wedding guests as they made their way to the beautiful wedding venue, Castle Hattem in Roermond. It was a beautiful sunny day, and the afternoon started with the civil ceremony followed by a champagne toast in the garden during the cutting of the wedding cake.
After the wedding cake was cut, everyone enjoyed cake and drinks, and we took some group photos with all family members. We then created a small romantic reportage around Castle Hattem with the bride and groom together with their dog.
Then it was time for the wedding dinner. During the dinner, where I also got to partake, I edited some photos for a presentation during the evening celebration.
I documented the start of the evening celebration as well, capturing the arrival of the evening guests and their cozy gathering in the garden.
