Wedding photographer Maastricht: Who wouldn't want to get married at Vaeshartelt? Wedding photos capturing a splendid celebration in Maastricht
It was eleven in the morning when I arrived in the mirror hall to photograph the makeup and hairstyling of the bride. It was wonderfully relaxed, with George Michael playing in the background, while the hairdresser, Noel, worked on the bride's hair.
Following that, her best friend applied her makeup. In the meantime, I took some photos of the stunning lace wedding dress, the unique lace wedding shoes, and also visited the bridal suite where the groom and their four children were getting dressed with the groom's parents.
It was a bustling scene in the small bridal suite, where two videographers were also present.
Then quickly back to the mirror hall for the bride to get dressed.
Once both were at their best, it was time for their first meeting in wedding attire, which, on the advice of wedding planner Loes, took place in the secret garden. I walked with the bride to the garden, where she stood waiting with her back to the entrance, while her soon-to-be husband approached with the bridal bouquet. A beautiful and emotional moment.
Afterwards, it was time for the wedding photoshoot of the couple together and then with the children. I took some shots indoors in the beautifully decorated castle and others in the gardens under the trees. There was also a colorful circus wagon in the garden, which I used for some wedding photos.
After a fun couple photoshoot, I slowly made my way to the location of the ceremony under a beautiful tree in the garden. During the wedding ceremony, there was live music performed by a pianist, and personal stories about the couple were shared.
Freshly married, it was soon time for the toast and cutting the beautiful wedding cake. Then everyone gathered on the terrace, chatting and enjoying the wedding cake.
Soon after, the next item on the agenda was the group photos. I received fantastic assistance from the entertainment team, helping me gather the wedding guests who were to be in the photos.
After all this, the company was welcomed into the beautifully decorated hall for the wedding dinner, where speeches, a fun quiz, and a musical menu were presented. This put the lively group in a festive mood. There was dancing and much laughter.
The beautiful wedding day concluded with a closing dance on the terrace, surrounded by all the guests.
