Wedding photographer in Limburg: International wedding photography at the chic wedding venue Castle Wittem and at the trendy Viva Lanterne
A wedding in picturesque Limburg on Friday and another one on Saturday. Two completely different weddings, each with its own charm.
On Saturday, Sandra and Erik got married at Viva Lanterne in Wittem. The couple lives in Sydney and came back to the Netherlands with their two flower children to marry in the hilly landscape.
We first had a phone conversation, which was already very nice, and we immediately understood each other. After confirming the wedding photography, they came to my house to get to know each other, and then I was even more excited about their wedding day!
A wedding day with many special, photographic moments for spontaneous wedding photos. The wedding day began with Sandra getting dressed in the beautiful Castle Wittem. The bride was here with her girlfriends, and that was already very cozy. Everyone chatted and ate, and Sandra was beautifully made up.
At 2 o'clock she was picked up by groom Erik with their wedding car, and we started with the wedding reportage around the castle; afterwards, the children were brought by for a few nice photos with the family. The couple climbed into an old fallen tree together for this.
Then the time passed quickly and I had to quickly get into my car for the ceremony. On the way, it seemed that two ponies had escaped and I had to take a detour to arrive at Viva Lanterne on time. Fortunately, I was there in time to photograph the wedding ceremony. A short but impressive ceremony in a barn, illuminated with tealights. Erik had arranged a string orchestra as a surprise for Sandra, which played "Here Comes the Bride" as she entered.
After the ceremony, it was time for a reception with prosecco and delicious wedding cake, personally tested by me. The rest of the afternoon was spent chatting, having drinks and dinner, and sitting on the sunny terrace.
My wedding reportage ended with the evening party and the opening dance, after the mood was already good.
