Wedding Photographer Limburg: Spontaneous Wedding Coverage at De Overste Hof and Mondo Verde in Landgraaf
The weather was delightfully mild as I arrived at the groom's location to capture his preparations. Soon, his suit was on, and I headed to the bridal suite where the bride was being beautifully made up by the makeup artist. Her bridal hairstyle was a gorgeous cascade of curls. Friends came in to assist, followed by her mother. According to Filipino tradition, the mother handed her the bridal bouquet. Once the wedding gown was on, it was time for the "first look."
Everyone watched in anticipation as the bride and groom saw each other for the first time in the bridal suite. After pinning the boutonnieres, we proceeded to the Abbey of Rolduc in Kerkrade, where the religious ceremony took place, and we took wedding photos in the Rococo Library. This couple loves chess, and this theme was incorporated into the wedding coverage; they played a game of chess during the wedding photo shoot.
At 1 o'clock, it was time for the wedding Mass; the beautiful church was adorned with balloons. The bride entered with three flower girls and her mother. Live music accompanied the service, and after the Mass, an honor guard was formed outside the church by all the wedding guests, blowing bubbles.
Subsequently, everyone moved to Mondo Verde, where everyone sat comfortably on the terrace. Various speeches were given, the wedding cake was cut, and toasts were made. After the pleasant reception, the party moved to Al Hambra for the wedding dinner. During dinner, I edited some photos from the day, which were presented on a projector.
At nine o'clock, the opening dance took place, with the bride and groom surrounded by all the guests. Everyone held a sparkler, and, in the end, confetti poppers went off, and everyone hit the dance floor. The celebration reached its peak with an exciting performance by Lou Bega (known for "Mambo No. 5").
Following that, there were various other performances, including traditional Filipino dances.
At half past ten, I bid farewell to the newlyweds.
