Wedding Photography: A Chinese Wedding Reportage in Amsterdam
Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of creating a super fun and spontaneous bridal reportage in Amsterdam. A Chinese couple, who had tied the knot in January in China, was on their honeymoon, exploring several cities in Germany and the Netherlands. They discovered my services through the Fearless Photographers website. On Saturday, they were in Amsterdam, and we arranged to meet at their hotel in Oud Zuid.
From there, we embarked on a nearly four-hour stroll through the city, during which I captured a wedding reportage for them. This was something they hadn't done during their wedding in China.
We began at Vondelpark, capturing some romantic wedding photos. From there, we walked along the Prinsengracht, taking beautiful backlit photos with the canal belt as a backdrop. We made a pit stop at a terrace, then continued towards the Oude Kerk and the Dam Square, featuring living statues.
Passing through Dam Square, we headed to Museumplein because I felt that "I Amsterdam" shouldn't be missing from their bridal reportage. Finally, we took a few more photos by the Miffy (Nijntje) sculptures on the square.
Then it was time to bid farewell to these incredibly delightful people. They gifted me with Chinese sweets and even extended an invitation to visit them on vacation in China.
