Wedding Photographer Belgium: Spontaneous wedding photography at Paal 26, with a wedding ceremony at the town hall in Ham and a wedding dinner at Kan10 Kasterlee
This wedding reportage in Belgium started at home with the bride getting ready and dressed at their own wedding venue, Paal 26 in Paal. A relaxed morning that provided me with ample opportunities to capture journalistic wedding photos. All the ladies gathered in the living room, where their hair and makeup were meticulously taken care of.
It was also at their own wedding venue, Paal 26, where the beautiful bride descended the stairs and saw her future husband for the first time.
Subsequently, we departed in their Beetle convertible wedding car to the tennis court, where this lovely couple had first met. We then took some romantic wedding photos in nature, by the railroad tracks, and in the nearby forest.
Upon returning to their wedding venue, Paal 26, an old-fashioned bus was ready to pick up the entire party, along with the newlyweds, to head to the town hall in Ham for the legal wedding ceremony. This is always conducted by the mayor in Belgium. It was a brief but humorous ceremony that lasted only 20 minutes.
Afterward, we took another ride in the old bus and arrived at the beautiful restaurant Kan10 in Kasterlee, where everyone first enjoyed an aperitif on the terrace and then sat down for a delightful wedding lunch.
Following the lunch, we took the bus back to Paal, to Paal 26, where on the beautifully decorated rooftop terrace, the informal but very personal wedding ceremony took place, featuring numerous speeches and champagne. It was a splendid sunny afternoon when the couple said "I do" for the second time that day.
Following the ceremony, drinks were served, and there was time for congratulations, gift-giving, and extensive socializing. The socializing transitioned into a delightful BBQ buffet in the garden of the wedding venue, and late in the evening, there was a magnificent opening dance by the newlyweds, followed by a surprise flash mob.
