Wedding Photographer Limburg: A wedding report full of emotion and spontaneity, in the church in Nunhem and at the Grote Hegge in Thorn
Janine and Peter recently had their civil ceremony at Nonke Buusjke in Schinveld, and now it was their big day when the church wedding took place, including the wedding dinner and evening celebration.
Fortunately, not too early, as I also had a wedding until late on Friday, I arrived around half past twelve on Saturday at Janine's parents' home in Nunhem, where Marlou was already working on the bride's makeup and hair.
Their daughter Sofie took a nap and was later dressed by grandma. In between, I also took some photos of the groom getting ready, who put on his wedding suit at an uncle's place just 5 minutes away.
At this location, the male friends gathered, and the boutonnieres were also pinned. Then back to Janine, who was putting on her beautiful lace wedding dress. When Janine had her wedding dress on and Sofie, the daughter and bridesmaid, was dressed, Janine traditionally descended the stairs in her lace wedding dress, while all friends and family were downstairs. With Sofie in her arms, it was a moment of joy with tears.
Peter, the groom, had meanwhile arrived in his classic convertible wedding car, and Janine opened the front door. Here she received her colorful and trendy bridal bouquet that Peter had made for her, after all, Peter and Janine are from Cox Design in Schinveld (responsible for the floral arrangements for many of my couples), so there was no shortage of beautiful flowers and wedding decorations that wedding day.
The whole company waved off the bridal couple who were on their way to the beautiful small church. During a beautiful wedding service where a gospel choir accompanied the service musically, the vows were exchanged.
After the service, a guard of honor was formed, rose petals were thrown at the newlyweds, and there was a champagne toast. From the church, I left with the bridal couple towards Thorn to the wedding venue Grote Hegge, while we took some more photos on the way with the car and at a tower at an old farmhouse in Nunhem.
At Grote Hegge, we briefly walked along the water to take some posed photos on a bridge. After that, Peter and Janine joined the rest of the party, and it was time for the wedding dinner. During the dinner, I also took a short break to eat. After dinner, the evening guests slowly entered the banquet hall, and the wedding cake was cut. Everyone started chatting and having a good time when Janine's uncle surprised everyone with an additional performance.
After the act, DJ Bas managed to further boost the mood with a fun opening dance. Peter and Janine hadn't thought about it, but Bas convinced them to do it.
At half-past nine, the bridal bouquet was tossed. After that, all the important moments were over, and it was slowly time for me to say goodbye.
