Wedding Photography in Sittard: Spontaneous Wedding Reportage of an International Wedding with an Outdoor Ceremony in Mariapark Sittard

This wedding reportage began with the bride getting ready at her parents' home. Unfortunately, her dress was already on when I arrived, but her mother was putting on the finishing touches. After that, there were plenty of other lovely moments for me to capture as a wedding photographer, such as taking some photos in the garden among the beautiful flowers and documenting the makeup artist putting the final touches on the bridal makeup.

Then, I headed to Mariapark for the rest of the photo coverage of this wedding day. Here, the parents and other people were busy with preparations for the wedding day. An arrangement was set up in the courtyard for an outdoor wedding ceremony, and slowly, the day guests began to trickle in.

This was an international marriage this time, as the bride is Dutch, and the groom is Brazilian. So, there were many Brazilian family members and friends present.

Once all the guests were seated, the bride entered with both of her parents, followed by a beautiful informal wedding ceremony in the courtyard, full of emotional moments. After the ceremony, there were congratulations inside for the newlyweds, followed by cutting the cake. After the cake, I took some group photos with the family, and during the cocktail hour, where many people were enjoying themselves outside, I took the newlyweds to the city garden in Sittard to capture some romantic wedding photos. The garden may have been somewhat dry, but the arch with the lightbulbs still provided charming wedding photos. To conclude, I took a few more wedding photos with the couple indoors on the wooden stairs of Hotel Merici, where they were also staying.

When we returned, it was slowly time for the wedding dinner. During the dinner, I worked on my laptop to edit some photos for a presentation on a projector.

The guests responded very enthusiastically to these images, and soon, more and more people came to preview the wedding photos. The celebration in Mariapark ended around 10 p.m., and a select group continued to a cozy café in Putstraat in Sittard. Here, the bridal couple was warmly welcomed for the second time that day. Around half past 11, it was time for me to bid farewell, and this beautiful wedding reportage came to an end.
