Wedding photographer in Brabant: Wedding photos in Son en Breugel at La Sonnerie and at Castle de Henkeshaag
Another trendy and hip wedding from Thijs and Sharona, and I had the honor of being their wedding photographer that day. I started by photographing the makeup and hairstyle at home in Son en Breugel (Brabant). Thijs had arranged a super cool Ford Mustang vintage wedding car as a surprise for his bride, even a white convertible. The groom went for a ride with a good friend while the bride was being helped to get dressed.
During the dressing, the super cute flower children were present, making the whole thing very photogenic. A romantic dress that perfectly suited Sharona. Everyone stood at the bottom of the stairs when Thijs first saw her and handed her her colorful bridal bouquet.
After that, a Flugel was enjoyed with friends before we headed to Castle de Henkeshaag to do the wedding shoot there with their French Bulldogs and the flower children.
We also took some photos at the chapel, where Sharona lit a candle for her deceased mother.
Unfortunately, it was quite rainy during the shoot, so the bridal umbrella was welcome, and to keep the rain at bay, I took some photos of the bridal couple under the weeping willow.
From Henkeshaag, we returned to Son en Breugel to La Sonnerie for the civil ceremony. The former monastery was beautifully decorated with balloons and pink lights.
After the ceremony, there was a beautiful honor guard and confetti that reached the roof of the wedding venue. The sun came out, and everyone chatted and congratulated the newlyweds. When threatening clouds approached again, we decided to take some more photos in a nearby park.
Then quickly back into the car, because it started raining. By the time I arrived in Bladel at the Tipmast, the rain had fortunately stopped. Here we took some photos with the Ford Mustang and then on a beautiful forest path, complete with the dogs.
The dogs were actually with us all day. Also at the ceremony and at the evening party. The flower children naturally loved it. The animals had to join in, which resulted in fun photos.
During dinner, I took a short break. Afterwards, there was a wonderful, colorful wedding cake in a tropical style, complete with flamingos, dolphins, and shells. This theme was reflected in the entire decoration of the banquet hall. There was also a tropical-themed photo booth.
After cutting the wedding cake, the evening guests slowly arrived, and then there was the traditional first dance.
After the dance, I slowly said goodbye and had another very nice day with a great couple.
