Wedding Photographer Maastricht: Romantic Wedding Photography in Maastricht and Buitenplaats Vaeshartelt
Last Saturday, I photographed a wedding at Vaeshartelt Castle in Maastricht. I started capturing the makeup and dressing of the bride in their cozy apartment near Vrijthof. We had plenty of time, but around ten to eleven, the bride started to get quite nervous.
The groom picked her up in their red wedding car; after ringing the doorbell and extensive hugging and kissing, we strolled through the center of Maastricht together with the cameramen, passing through Vrijthof, Grote Staat, Onze Lieve Vrouweplein, and also along some charming shops, such as the vintage store "Er was eens," where we went in for a few photos during a rain shower.
The reactions throughout the city were incredibly nice; we were called into a men's fashion store for some photos, the bridal couple sat on the terrace at Fallstaf, and they were congratulated by a group of tourists on a city tour.
After the posing session, we headed to Vaeshartelt for the civil ceremony, the reception, and the subsequent dinner.
