Saturday Annet and Patrick are getting married in the museum aan het Vrijthof. Of all the couples who booked me, they were the first ones who contacted me, almost 2 years before their wedding.
We did a loveshoot before the wedding, from which they had a reception book made, in which all wedding guests left a personal message for the bridal couple on the wedding day.
The wedding day started rainy with a lot of wind, but soon the sun broke through. I met up at Annet's mother's house in Landgraaf to photograph the dressing up and picking up of the bride. From home, the entire wedding party went to the theater aan het Vrijthof for the civil marriage ceremony. Then there was the religious marriage ceremony in the atmospheric church in Bemelen, a beautiful place for taking spontaneous and romantic wedding photos.
After the church service, we headed towards Cadier en Keer and Gronsveld for the wedding reportage. Around half past five, the bridal couple arrived at the terrace of the Pastory in Cadier en Keer. Here, they toasted and cut the wedding cake.
The evening party continued in the banquet hall, where all wedding guests were received, the dinner buffet was opened, and the evening was musically accompanied by Ivo van der Bijl, and as a surprise, Erwin van het Merretkoer came by for a cozy performance.
At half past ten, I said goodbye, as my job as the photographer of this wedding was done, and the wedding party continued in full swing.
