Wedding Photographer Ardennes: Wedding Photography in Waimes in the Belgian Ardennes
Getting married abroad, also known as a "Destination Wedding," is possible just an hour across the Dutch border in the Belgian Ardennes, specifically at the beautiful villa "La Ferme de Pere Louis" in Waimes.
Today, I drove to the Ardennes with wedding planner Joyce Peters to create a business portrait for her company "Joy's Wedding Events," based in Trintelen.
My idea was to photograph her in the wooded surroundings and in the villa while she was busy styling a bridal dinner table.
I got acquainted with the beautiful villa, where many weddings take place, last summer during a surprise wedding that I had the privilege to photograph here.
Joyce, as a wedding planner in Limburg, is focusing on forest and nature-themed weddings, a theme that resonates with me.
During the one-hour journey to the Ardennes, we quickly discovered that we have much in common, such as our love for animals, nature, adventure, and entrepreneurship. We both know what it's like to work in an office and how liberating it feels to now be able to run our own businesses and manage our own schedules.
Entrepreneurship, for me, is the most beautiful thing. Regarding weddings, like Joyce, I find it crucial to attract the right clients who resonate with my style. For instance, I love capturing wedding reports in a natural setting with a special emphasis on styling.
Who wouldn't want to get married under a beautiful tree overlooking the forest, followed by toasting on the balcony of this gorgeous wooden villa? With the deer antlers, wooden floors, and red cushions, you almost feel like you're in a fairy-tale house. The ideal setting for a wedding, isn't it?
Getting married is beautiful in every season. In summer, you have the chance for balmy evenings, and in winter, cozy nights by the wood fire with the Christmas tree as a backdrop.
