Wedding Photographer Maastricht: Winter wedding at Buitenplaats Vaeshartelt in Maastricht
This couple approached me in September for their wedding reportage in November. No frills, just a lovely wedding day for family and friends without a year of preparation. How delightful. And the story of how they met is also wonderfully charming: introduced to each other by a mutual friend, and that's how the spark ignited.
Who says only the summer months are beautiful for a wedding? Not me anymore! Kitty and Gerard got married today on a beautiful, cold, but sunny day at Vaeshartelt Castle in Maastricht. The wedding day started at 3 o'clock with the civil ceremony at Buitenplaats Vaeshartelt. Following that, there was champagne and wedding cake, and we had an hour for family portraits (a standard part of every wedding reportage) and some romantic wedding photos of the couple together.
Afterwards, there was a cozy reception, and wedding gifts were unwrapped. As a surprise, Kitty's daughter had brought two wish lanterns that we released into the sky with the entire party.
Following that was a wedding dinner, and then it was time for me to head home, concluding another journalistic wedding reportage at Vaeshartelt Castle
